Foster Care Case Manager – East Tennessee
We are currently hiring a Foster Care Case Manager for the Knoxville area. This position will require travel to oversee foster families and placements in surrounding counties. Applicant must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in social work, sociology, psychology, education, or related field and one (1) year of pertinent experience in the human services field with children or in a residential treatment setting. Volunteer experience, practicum and intern experiences in programs/facilities that work with children and families may be counted as pertinent work experience. A master’s degree in the social sciences may be substituted for the one year of work experience. The qualified applicant is a person of proven character and integrity, and an active member of a local evangelical church with a recommendation from the pastor of that church. Residential Care Program Director – East Tennessee (Chattanooga)
The Residential Care Program Director serves as the program team leader for each child and provides leadership and supervision for designated program team members. The Program Director must be a person of proven Christian character and integrity that is dedicated to serving children and families in hard places. A master's degree from an accredited academic institution required with a focus on social sciences, social work, counseling, psychology, or education. A bachelor's degree in social work or related human services field may be considered with five or more years of experience in foster/residential care and supervision. The person must be committed to the Lord, attend an evangelical church, and be recommended by the pastor. Program Directors are required to reside on their campus. Overnight travel and working after business hours, weekends and/or holidays may be occasionally required. This position will require travel to oversee foster families and placements Shelby and immediate surrounding counties. Applicant must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in social work, sociology, psychology, education, or related field and one (1) year of pertinent experience in the human services field with children or in a residential treatment setting. Volunteer experience, practicum and intern experiences in programs/facilities that work with children and families may be counted as pertinent work experience. A master’s degree in the social sciences may be substituted for the one year of work experience. Houseparents: East Tennessee (Chattanooga)
We are currently seeking a married couple to serve as Houseparents on our Chattanooga Campus. Both applicants must be able to accept and respect children from diverse backgrounds as individuals, demonstrate care and concern in a family-like atmosphere, have knowledge and understanding of child care. Applicants must also show the ability to learn and work closely with others in a team-oriented environment. This position requires people of Christian character and integrity dedicated to serving the Lord and others. Both applicants must be active members of an evangelical church, recommended by the pastor of that church, with a sense of call to childcare ministry.
