Residential Care

TBCH provides on-campus homes for children who are not in state custody but whose parents or family members cannot currently provide the day-to-day care the children need. These on-campus homes are led by Christian couples who serve as houseparents for up to eight children. TBCH staff also provides a plan, support and resources for families to help them become stronger with the hope of reuniting families.

We have three residential locations in East, Middle, and West Tennessee. Through this program, up to eight children live together as an active, giving family unit in campus homes with a married couple who serve as houseparents. Each home is a large, family-style home with a kitchen, family room, and activities area. These large family units provide a safe environment where the children can be children guided by God’s principles and direction.

Cat has been with TBCH for almost five years, four of which were on our Memphis campus. Since streamlining our West Tennessee campuses,…

Many Hands

There is an old saying, “many hands make light work.” One simple idea proved the wisdom of this saying recently in a special way for the houseparents at the Brentwood campus. As is the case in this ministry, sometimes there is more work to do than there are hands to do it, and so it…
